How to make Google Chrome faster

Back to the default settings

After I finish all steps, my settings page become blank and auto refresh never stop. I reinstall the chrome browser then the settings page appears again. Now, you can back to the default settings, it will give you a stable chrome browser.
  1. Go to the location chrome://flags.
  2. Click the "Reset all to default" button at the right side.
  3. Then click the "Relaunch" button to restart your browser.
  4. Go to the location chrome://settings .
  5. Click the "Reset settings" button at the bottom side of the page.

Clear browsing data

Every month you should clear your browsing data. Because the browsing data will make you browse site faster. So you don't clear these every day. You can clear it for privacy reason.

  1. Hit Ctrl+H.
  2. Click the "Clear browsing data..." button.
  3. Check these options
    • Browsing history
    • Download history
    • Cookies and other site and plugin data
    • Cached images and files
    • Hosted app data
  4. Click the "Clear browsing data..." button.

Disable Extensions

  1. Go to the location chrome://extensions
  2. Uncheck the Enable box to disable the extension is not used often.

Disable Plugins

  1. Go to the location chrome://plugins
  2. Click the disable link to disable all plugins are not used often.

Fastest browsing

  1. Go to the location chrome://flags
  2. Hit Ctrl+F 
  3. Search for "Number of Raster", set to 4. (Change the rendering speed of images)
  4. Search for "Enable experimental canvas features", click to enable.(Increase loading times)
  5. Search for "Enable Fast Tab" click to enable.(Make tab fast)
  6. Search for "Override software rendering list" click to enable.
  7. Search for "Smooth Scrolling" click to enable.
  8. Click the "Relaunch Now" button to take effect.
